What is Iridology?
Iridology is a science that reveals pathological and functional disorders in the human body by means of abnormal lines and color changes in the iris of the eye.
The iris is like a fingerprint – a long term genetic pattern of inheritance in which every organ and part of the body is represented in a well-defined area. The nerve filaments, muscle fibers, and minute blood vessels in these areas not only portray your “fingerprint”, but also the changing conditions in the corresponding part or organ.
The iris of a normal person is clear in color and evenly textured, but when any part of the system is disordered, the response is immediately transmitted to corresponding areas in the iris, through a complex network of sympathetic cerebrospinal nerves.
Some of the things the eye can reveal:
Inherent strengths and weaknesses of body systems. This is actually Iridology’s greatest asset … it can reveal where the body is most likely to break down under stress, and what kind of illnesses a person is prone to.- The tendency towards toxicity and which organs are most likely responsible.
- The tendency toward hardening of the arteries and cholesterol problems.
- Adrenal fatigue and general stress levels
- The tendency towards bowel conditions such as diverticulitis, prolapsus, spastic bowel, ballooning, etc.
- Tendencies to imbalances in the nervous system, including spinal subluxations and neurological problems.
- Overall constitutional strength or weakness.
Some of the things the eye cannot reveal:
- Specific diseases
- Whether or not a woman is pregnant
- How a person takes care of his/her body
- What foods a person does or doesn’t eat
